On Thursday, November 5, the Bowen Foundation for Autism hosted its Third Annual Cruise for a Cure for Autism aboard the Duchess of Pintail which departed from Annapolis City Dock. In total, more than 150 individuals and local businesses showed their support for this event which raised over $30,000 to help local Maryland families fight autism.
The event featured fantastic food donated by Adam’s Ribs, Pit Boys and Stan and Joe’s Saloon as well as beer from Katcef Brothers Distributors, wine from The Country Vintner and vodka donated by Heroes Pub in Annapolis.
In addition, guests were also able to bid on more than 30 silent auction packages featuring everything from vacation homes to fine jewelry to restaurant gift packs which also helped the foundation raise needed funds.
