Our Mission

The mission of the Bowen Foundation is to raise awareness and funds for the prevention, treatment, education and research efforts related to conditions along the autism spectrum and to improve the lives of individuals with these conditions, primarily here in Maryland.

While this is a lofty goal, our primary desire is to make the biggest difference we can for those affected by autism in order to help them live the most productive lives possible.

Bowen Foundation Forms Partnership with The ARC
The Bowen Foundation for Autism recently granted $30,000 to The ARC of the Central Chesapeake to create a new grant program focused on helping families living with autism.  To find out more about this new venture and how you can apply, please read the full press release here.

2009 Cruise for a Cure for Autism a Great Success!
Thank you to everyone who attended and showed their support for the Bowen Foundation for Autism’s Third Annual Cruise for a Cure for Autism which was held on November 5.  In total, more than 150 individuals and businesses participated and helped the foundation raised more than $30,000!
